The Ballet Serie #2
As soon as I had been allowed to be present at rehearsals and take photos, the most interesting things began to occur. However I’m a painter, and not a photographer.
I’m not allowed to take with me to the rehearsal my easel and my brushes. All I had to do is to take photos and commit them to my memory. The mood of a painter (and, consequently, his or her masterpieces) is being defined by the atmosphere.
All of the works in this series are portraits. Behind each character is a specific dancer. I have made an exhibition which included 32 works in itself. It has been exhibited in nearly half a world. At the end it has been successfully sold. These are only the rest of memories.
